| 2/28/05 | Rebekka Rust, our Director of Public Relations during the project, is a film student in Germany. Since the reed boat project she had produced a film on the Dominican Republic. Then she went to New York City for several months to produce the film on our reed boat project. She and Manahi Taber-Kewene, the project's editor, have nearly completed the film. | 2/28/04 | Engel Brothers Media made a short demo using footage from the Qala Yampu project and presented it with a series idea, "Debunked!", to The Discovery Channel. The film for the first episode has been completed, and follows Paul Harmon and Alexei Vranich as they debunk myths surrounding Costa Rica’s mysterious stone spheres. A special for The Discovery Channel. It is tentatively scheduled for June 2004. Check here periodically for the exact date! _______________ |
